Canadian Society for Ukrainian Labour Research

The Canadian Society for Ukrainian Labour Research (CSULR) was established in the City of Toronto on October 12th and 13th, 1985 with the following objectives:

  • To serve as a Ukrainian centre for scholarly studies and research of immigrant labour, its impact on the demographic base of society, and the history and values of the communities that grew out of it.
  • To co-operate with other societies in the pursuit of sociological and cultural interpretations of ethnic formations in the process of change and development in Canada.
  • To sponsor and support a range of activities in this field of studies and research that includes conferences, seminars, schools, lectures, workshops, forums and to promote, publish and make available papers, research materials, commissioned works and studies to groups and individuals with complementary interests.
  • To encourage the collection and preservation of archival materials documenting the history of progressive Ukrainian Canadian organizations.

MEMBERSHIP is extended to individuals, organizations and institutions in Canada who wish to participate in the work of the Society and who support its objectives upon payment of annual fees which have been set by the Board of Directors as follows: Members $25.00 E-mail contact: csulrnational@gmail.com
